The launch of Cornerstone University Uganda (CUU) marked a defining moment in the history of Christian higher education. The grand opening ceremony, held on November 1st, 2025, was a celebration of vision, unity, and faith — a day that will be remembered for years to come.

The event was graced by His Majesty William Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope IV, the Kyabazinga of Busoga, who served as the Guest of Honor. His Majesty’s presence added royal prestige and significance to the ceremony, as he also celebrated his birthday alongside the university community — a truly memorable dual celebration.

The launch brought together government dignitaries, church leaders, donors, and international guests, all gathered to witness the birth of an institution committed to nurturing godly leaders and transforming education through excellence, innovation, and Christian values.

Dr. Richmond Wandera, the Vice Chancellor, President of PDN, and Founder of New Life Church, expressed his heartfelt appreciation to everyone who has been part of the journey.

A highlight of the day was a special performance by Cornerstone University’s Brand Ambassador, Grace Nakimera, whose inspiring music and captivating performance filled the atmosphere with joy, excitement, and gratitude.
