Prominent Ugandan gospel artist, worship leader, and pastor at Family Life Church Kawempe Twina Herbert is ready to set I AM A WONDER fire in Hockey Grounds Lugogo on 17th October alongside Mkululu Bhebhe from Zimbabwe behind songs like "Tambira Jehovah, Ichokwadi to mention but a few and other gospel artists.

"I AM A WONDER" is a jubilant explosion of unconventional thanksgiving. The song’s vibrant percussion and Twina’s improvisational praise create an atmosphere of radical praise. This anthem has become a standard for breakthrough celebrations in Ugandan Pentecostal circles.

In a press conference with news anchors and bloggers on Tuesday,  September 9, the reigning multi award winner urged gospel music lovers to shift their mindset.
He says that gospel music is a tool for transformation, not entertainment
While some critics argue that gospel concerts often resemble crusades and lack entertainment value, gospel singer Esther Godwyll has come to the genre’s defence.

Twina has firmly stated that gospel music is not meant for entertainment. According to him, it is a tool for transformation that goes far beyond mere performance.
In his view, patrons of gospel events should not attend with the intention of simply having fun. Instead, he believes they should approach these gatherings with open hearts and minds, allowing the lyrics to inspire positive change. 

He challenged the common expectation that gospel shows should mirror secular concerts filled with flashy stagecraft and high-energy acts.
“When people attend our events, they shouldn’t just look for entertainment. They should come with open hearts, ready to absorb the positive change the lyrics can inspire,” he said.

Ministry and Personal Life
Twina Herbert is married and serves as a pastor, combining his musical talents with his calling to minister to others. His music is a reflection of his deep faith and commitment to spreading God's word, where he also leads the Raising Worship Band. He's known for his inspiring music and motivational messages, touching the hearts of many with her powerful voice and heartfelt lyrics. His songs blend contemporary gospel with traditional Luganda influences, creating revival atmospheres across East Africa.
