Nakatto Julian Phillips known as Nakie Julian has been singing since 2009, here she presents another HYMN Experience 2024 at Serena Hotel on 28th March Holy Thursday 5pm and tickets go in for 50k, 150k and 1.5m let's join her celebrate Jesus.

Nakie says that this event is aimed at people having an encounter with God through hymns that have been sang in the old days and are still being sang.

She says that she got the nickname "Nakkie" from home because they had three pairs of twins and each other two pairs also had "Nakatto" so whenever one of their parents could call out for name (Nakatto) they could respond all at once and it really sounded very funny. Julian says "in order to differentiate each of us, everyone at home just started calling me NAKKIE and we call other two sisters by their Christian names, Tina and Jane.

Nakie Julian is famed for songs like ‘Omulungi’, ‘Kamuwaane’, 'Ntunula', 'Biribyange', ‘Tukutendereza’ and ‘Omukwano gwa Yesu’ and some collaborations like Nazuula Oyo ft. Isaac Morgan, Kankwagale ft. Abra Were and among others.
