Rab J Ekyafaayo Biography
With Just 6 songs in the 2 past years, Rab J Ekyafaayo has made a tremendous impact on the western Uganda music industry.Rab J Ekyafaayo is most known for songs like Twist and mariat (Mwana WA Hajji) that have taken the western radio stations ,television and population by storm. His songs are a versatile collection of genres comprising of Uganda folk music, ragga, dancehall, fused afro beat and rap sang in Rukiga/runyankole and some bits of Luganda.
Rab j Ekyafaayo career dates back from 2014 while still in Kampala as a hawker where he did a handful of jobs to raise money to record his music. After recording his first two songs, he returned to western Uganda-Rwashamaire to concentrate on promoting his music career. His first album comprises of songs like oli ssebo. Anita, Nalo, Twist and mariat.
He is signed on to a label in western Uganda called the AGO NATION where he has enjoyed the success of his two songs mariat and Twist that were produced by Riddim k a budding producer now based in western Uganda-Mbarara.
