Deejay Awar “DaBadGuy” (A funky way of summarizing The Born Again & Delivered Guy) is an urban contemporary gospel deejay based in Kampala Uganda. Born in a family of two, and being the only boy (has one elder sister) and the last born, raised by an a single mother he only regards as amazing, Titus Kairu(Real Names) is a born again, Jesus Christ believing Christian. He attributes his strong faith in God and passion for doing God’s  work to how his mother raised him in the fear of the Lord. If you have been to most of the big gospel concerts in the recent years, you must have spotted him on the stage working so tirelessly to hold the event flow together. He has been nominated for various awards both local and international. In 2018 and at the VIGA Awards he was crowned Deejay Of The Year. He also is a pioneer of the first ever gospel Silent Disco dubbed “The Burn Out Silent Disco” which he started in 2017 and has since held two successful editions. He currently works at leading independent Christian Radio Station, SPIRIT FM 96.6, Music For Life where he works as Deejay, Radio Presenter and Creative Arts Executive. He has also shared Tv Space, featuring on stations like; Urban Tv, NBS Tv, NTV, Channel 44, KSTV and lots more where he has been invited to showcase gospel music. He currently has not particular TV Station base but has gone all out to remain a strong not shaken ambassador of urban gospel music.

Kirk Franklin, Sherwin Gardener, Papasan, ADA, EBEN, POMPI, ABEL CHUNGU, MAG 44, AGNET SNYPA, SOBER, KRIS ERROH, ALEMBA, EXODUS, LEVIXONE, COOPY BLY, JUDITH BABIRYE, PASTOR WILSON BUGEMBE,the list is endless. 

From passion that was ignited after watching DJ TWONJEX (a founding father of the gospel deejay industry in Uganda) to being one that inspires turns of young and upcoming Djs in the gospel music industry, to being looked up as an icon in this fast budding industry, anyone who has interacted with this gifted man will tell you one thing, his humility and strong work ethic is consistent and that has made him stand out if the crowd. Since 2008 up till now, this man has kept at his passion and over the years improved his craft to the celebrated gospel deejay he is today.
