About Oluwami
ABOUT THE SONG:
The song adapts a Nigerian – Yoruba term ‘Oluwami’ which is translated as ‘my God’ in English. The artist asserts that in times of trouble even the people who are so close to him can desert him. Even his mother, family, his wife & child may all leave him alone. But GOD can never ever leave no matter how difficult or bad the situation may be. Even when his best friends turn into his foes, His God will still be with him.
The song therefore tries to elucidate that GOD is the only one reliable in this life, and that a person makes a right decision by putting his/her trust in GOD because he never disappoints.
