About Pressure free
This is a song of celebration and rejoicing for what the Lord has done. It is a combination of Silozi (one of the Zambian languages) and English.
The author looks back how far the Lord has brought him, from afar where there are so many sufferings and weeping, from afar where there’s no hope. The author is simply referring to the state he was in before he got saved.
The author now praises the LORD for setting him free and giving him a blessing to be a child of God, and he says “Lord you’re the only one who watches over me, all the times.” For this reason the author rejoices, because our LORD Jesus told us not worry about anything about this life and we believe that He is the great provider. So why should we be stressed about this life like people who do not know him?
We rejoice not because the sufferings are over, but because we have faith that our Lord is greater than the sufferings we may have, thus ‘Pressure free’! The LORD is for us
