Nsangi is a Ugandan girls’ name in the Buganda kingdom. This is a Gospel song inspired by an old folk tale where a woman gives birth to a beautiful daughter and gives her that name. Now, in this case Nsangi represents THE HUMAN RACE; Nsangi’s mother, GOD (The Creator Of The Universe). On this small village (this world we live in) where they resided lived man-eating Apes (Amazike) in whose presence Nsangi’s life wasn’t safe in any way since they always preferred eating young children to adults. These represent the enemy (satan and his works). So, when more and more children went missing Nsangi’s mother decided to take her to a far away valley and lock her up in a cave until such a time as she develops breasts.
Nsangi had nearly turned 5 years of age when her mother taught her that every time she was to come check on her, instead of knocking on the cave door, she would simply sing a song (which is now the song chorus) such that Nsangi would easily recognize her voice and open the door. They kept doing this for quite a long time, until when the Apes stealthily discovered the trick. One day, one of them made up his mind to go and try it out, but unfortunately this voice sounded so queer in Nsangi’s critical ear so she refused to open. The “monster” was so disappointed that he had to figure out all possible ways on how to get Nsangi for a meal some day.
On a luckless day, the monster walks back down to the cave before Nsangi’s mother and, having cleared his throat thoroughly well, bursts out into a song in the same voice as Nsangi’s mother’s. In the nutshell, Nsangi, like many other missing children became victimized by the Apes.

This is what exactly happens when GOD gives Christ (John 3:16) that in Him Alone, the world should be saved from the works of the devourer. Christ Jesus Is The Safe Cave In Which GOD keeps those who believe in Him.
