About Muhaba Gurush
Originally written by Baraka Silvano aka “Big Dream” in Arabic. “Muhaba Gurush” literally means, “money oriented boy-girl love,” but after going through it, a few changes were made and we ended up co-writing it together. The song is mainly sung in Arabic and some English. In the song, a girl left her boyfriend because he had become broke. He tells us that he is not going to give up searching for true love despite the fact that he is shedding tears. He will work hard. I start the introduction with a salutation, greeting and praising God and mentions of our names, then later I sing a part that’s quoted from the bible, Gods second commandment, “Love your neighbor as your love yourself “ but not loving someone for what they have or for their money, but with a genuine love.
